Job Summary
Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the Service Coordinator plays a key role supporting customers and service technician teams across Edmonton, Edson, Drayton Valley and Whitecourt.
This position is responsible for assisting customers with service requests, coordinating and dispatching technicians and contractors, managing service scheduling, and supporting administrative functions including account setup, billing support, and reporting. The role ensures efficient service delivery and strong customer support across all operations.
This position will also help coordinate all fleet maintenance and repairs. Working with drivers and repair facilities to ensure proper maintenance of the fleet.  Ensuring all fleet records are maintained and updated as needed to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Dispatch gas technicians and contractors as required
  • Supply and schedule work for technicians
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries regarding service status, products, and concerns
  • Contact customers as required and manage service-related communications
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer service
  • Set up fixed assets on customer accounts
  • Open and close customer accounts as needed
  • Process account adjustments and write-offs
  • Arrange payment plans with customers when required
  • Manage service-related reports
  • Support daily processing of technician and contractor work batches
  • Assist with processing in-house technician payroll
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and business systems
  • Experience with dispatch or billing systems considered an asset
  • Ability to adapt to seasonal workload changes
  • Knowledge of propane or heating products considered an asset
